Following a successful career in the creative industry. I am focusing on developing my painting style in acrylic and water soluble oils.
It's the natural world that excites me and inspires me the most, in particular the woodland surrounding my home in Kent. So as an artist it makes sense to combine my lifetime love of walking in the countryside with sketching en plein air and painting in the studio from my own photographs and sketches of the landscape.
I love the solitude and drama of wild places but also the peace and magical charm of woodland. Having travelled widely, I have seen some breathtaking places but Britain has its own share of beautiful and remote landscapes which I hope to capture in my art.
The aim of my art is to convey my love of the outdoors to the viewer and to share the beauty of it with them.
