Printing : Alison Carter
Alison started etching in the late 1980s when she was living in Sydney, Australia,
initially exploring traditional lithographic etching. Since then she has
completed printmaking courses whilst travelling in New Zealand, Hong Kong and
latterly at Seal Chart Farm near Sevenoaks under the encouraging eye of Lawrence Jenkins.
Alison took part in South East Open Studios in 2006.
Alison tries to pursue her etchings as much as she can, as by day, she is
editor of Printing World, a monthly magazine published by Haymarket Business
Media, which supports the business of printing in all its various commercial
sectors.
