I have always painted, drawn and taken photographs from a very young age. I have a graphics working background and began working in the print industry. I then moved on to display and exhibition design, working for British Gas, before I had a long break to bring up my children.

I work in a variety of media using various techniques within each discipline. I describe my work as ever evolving. From one initial idea a range of different works can manifest. I also find that my styles can change from one area to another, with time. My work veers towards the contemporary.

I co-own a company with my husband Steve. Our company promotes three main disciplines - Art, Design and Photography of which the art is sub categorised into both Fine and Digital. I also write poetry.

I hope to learn more disciplines including working more with glass fusion. I also hope to go on to learn artistic ironmongery and wrought iron work.

I love creating and look upon it as playing with ideas. However, I never feel as though I have a full knowledge, consequently I am always looking to learn, improve and gain new skills.
