Watercolour : Naomi Hall
Naomi Hall was born in Bombay and came to London when she was seventeen. Several years later she retired from being an Account Director in a major Advertising Agency to start a family. Water colours came later.
‘I felt that I had an affinity with watercolours, even though I’d not even done art at school.’ She says. 'I was fortunate enough to meet the late David Jackson, formerly Director of Art at Caterham School, and he gave me the grounding in watercolour techniques. We painted together for some years and I still enjoy painting in company with other artists.’
Naomi has exhibited at Olympia, the Royal Southern Yacht Club - from where her work has found its way to USA, and locally with the Caterham and Tandridge Art Societies. She has painted on location in Spain, Lake Como, Menorca, St. Lucia and at Dedham, and is inspired by the view from her studio on the Chart across the Weald.
Naomi’s original watercolours are done on textured watercolour paper. She also produces small print runs of some subjects also on textured watercolour paper.
Each of these paintings are also available as a greetings card, approximate size 14 x 10 cm, printed on watercolour paper. Price £3.00 each.
