Hever Primary School : Peace Garden

EVA members Niki Campbell, Shiv Duke, Lyndsay Connors, Mary McCarten and Jo Wooltorton worked with the children and staff at Hever Primary School to create mosaics in their world peace garden.

The elements added to the challenge as EVA members along with children and staff worked in torrential rain and thunder to create a mosaic path, a circular dove mosaic and help the children with painting pebbles.

The middle two images of the paving stones show where the children arranged found and recycled material, such as glass bottles which they had collected we broke up and fired in a kiln, materials such as keys , crockery, metal items etc.

Download a jpg of the days events and the children's thoughts to EVA about the day.
